| FJC to Hold Community Seder on Tuesday, March 30 March 11th -- The response has been overwhelming and we regret to inform you that, as of today, there are no more spaces available.
The Falmouth Jewish Congregation is pleased to announce that it will hold its first community-wide Passover seder on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Coonamessett Inn.
Long aware of a growing interest within the broader community about the Jewish observance of Passover, the congregation is offering this Jewish Passover seder experience to all who wish to attend – people of all faiths and backgrounds, adults and children. This will be a traditional Passover seder--a Jewish ritual observance–and an opportunity for a first-hand, participatory experience of an ancient rite. The seder will be conducted utilizing a user-friendly haggadah (Passover text) and, at each table, knowledgeable members of the Falmouth Jewish Congregation will be present to make guests feel comfortable and involved. It will be celebratory, festive and fun for all ages. It is our hope that members of the Upper Cape community will join members of our congregation for this seder.
If you have questions about the seder, please contact the Falmouth Jewish Congregation at 508-540-0602 or read the FJC Community Passover Seder F.A.Q.
If you are interested in attending, please download and return the sign up form by March 23.
