| Falmouth Jewish Cemetery From time immemorial, Jewish tradition has stressed the importance of providing a peaceful and serene final resting place for our loved ones. A cemetery, lovingly established in harmony with the most deeply-held Jewish values, is an essential part of a thriving Jewish community.
The Falmouth Jewish Cemetery was created in 1994 to meet the needs of Cape Cod’s Jewish community. This non-profit cemetery is adjacent to the Falmouth Jewish Congregation, near its Chapel and historic Meeting House.
The spacious, peaceful, grass-covered grounds are surrounded on three sides by woodlands, with wide paths for easy access to each grave-site and ample off-street parking. It sits at the corner of Sandwich and Hatchville Roads in East Falmouth.
As Cape Cod’s only free-standing Jewish cemetery, it is open to all of the Jewish faith as well as their immediate families. Congregation membership is not required. You are encouraged to come by at any time to view the cemetery. If you are interested in meeting with or talking to a member of the Cemetery Committee regarding the purchase of a plot, or if you have any questions, please contact the temple office or use the e-mail contact form on this website.
