3/11/2010 Noon / 12:30 P.M.-Weekday Film Series: Darius Goes West Darius Goes West is a powerful documentary about a young man with Duschene Muscular Distrophy and his indomitable spirit and drive to raise funds for a cure.
3/12/2010 8:30 P.M.-Oneg Shabbat Special Program: "Area Code 508" - Nicole Gabai interviews Richard Dreyfuss Screening during the Oneg Shabbat of FJC member Nicole Gabai's filmed interview with actor and activist Richard Dreyfuss, founder of The Dreyfuss Initiative for raising civic awareness. Ms. Gabai will take questions following the screening.
3/14/2010 3:00 P.M.-Coffeehouse for URJ's Haiti Relief Fund: featuring THE PEGHEADS Rhode Island's "Bluegrass Superband" entertains us in this coffeehouse to support the Union for Reform Judaism's Haiti Relief Fund, which contributes to a variety of Jewish and secular organizations working in Haiti. Open to the public.
3/19/2010 6:00 P.M.-Musical Kabbalat Shabbat - led by Grades 5 & 6 Religious School students join a musical ensemble in leading Shabbat worship.
3/19/2010 7:00 P.M.-Multigenerational Dinner Our annual multigenerational dinner follows Shabbat worship led by grades 5 & 6. All ages welcome. Pricing to be determined.

3/21/2010 12:30 - 2:30 P.M.-Nothing But Nets MARCH MADNESS A afternoon of lunch and fun at a local gym to raise tzedakah for Nothing But Nets and provide anti-malaria nets to Africans. FJC members only.
3/26/2010 7:30 P.M.-Shabbat service led by Arnie Davidson Musician and worship leader Arnie Davidson of Connecticut will serve as guest Shaliach Tzibur.
3/30/2010 6:00 P.M.-Second Seder: FJC Community Seder This year the Falmouth Jewish Congregation will hold a "Community Seder" (Jewish Passover meal) to which all in both our congregation and the Falmouth/Upper Cape community are invited. Details to come.

5/16/2010 9:00 A.M. - Noon-Annual Mitzvah Day Mitzvah Day is the FJC's annual day of service to the community, with a wide range of projects for all ages and abilities. Also included are a blood drive and Gift of Life Bone Marrow donation registration.
5/18/2010 7:00 P.M.-Tikkun Leyl Shavuot An evening of study (and cheesecake) to usher in the Festival of Shavuot.
5/19/2010 10:00-Shavuot Festival Service We celebrate the Festival of Shavuot. Yizkor prayers recited. Pot-luck dairy luncheon follows.
5/20/2010 7:00 P.M.-Ethics Course: Session I The second installment of our Lifelong Learning Ethics Course is based on Rabbi Jospeh Telushkin's You Shall Be Holy, Vol. 2: Love Thy Neighbor. Pre-registration, fee for non-members, and purchase of text is required.
