Every year, we join other Reform, Conservative and Reconstructionist congregations throughout North America in a project called "The Corners of Our Fields" to collect groceries for local food pantries and to raise funds for MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger.
This year we sent 255 bags of groceries to the Falmouth Service Center and we raised $6,497 for MAZON. In addition, by sponsoring ushpizin (imagined and honored sukkah guests) we raised $1,397 for "Falmouth Builds Together", our local effort to help build two Habitat For Huamnity homes in Falmouth.
