You won't want to miss this opportunity to discover or return to Alan Lew's beautiful book that has become in inspiring classic. The first day of September and the Hebrew month of Elul fall on the same day this year, providing ideal timing for you to read the book in preparation for the High Holy Days. It reads easily stylistically, but provokes deep reflection. As per Jewish tradition, I recommend that you undertake the task of beginning the book and attend the discussion even if you have not completed it. Hopefully, our discussion will enrich our reflections on the year past and the changes we might make in the year ahead.
