To everything there is a season”
– Ecclesiastes 3:1
Throughout the year, our Jewish holidays help us celebrate the rhythms of Jewish life. Each holiday season has unique elements, services, and celebrations.
HOLIDAYS
Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are among the most important days of the Jewish year. They invite us to begin the year by reflecting on our relationships and our lives. We look back upon our past and consider how we might bring greater wholeness in the year ahead.
Throughout this sacred season of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we offer a wide variety of services, programs, and activities for all ages.
Sukkot & Simchat Torah
Sukkot and Simchat Torah are days of great joy and celebration, we gather in our Sukkah and dance together as we complete reading the Torah together.
Hanukkah
The Festival of Light is a wonderful way to join together as a community and celebrate the miracles of light in dark places. We celebrate Hanukkah together with communal candle lighting, latkes, and sufganiyot.
Purim
We celebrate Purim together by telling the story of Esther and Mordechai, dressing up in costumes, and sharing gifts with others are incredible ways to celebrate this joyful holiday together.
Passover
Our communal second night seder is a highlight of our year, as we gather together to share the story of the Exodus from Egypt.
Shavuot
Each spring we celebrate receiving the Torah at Mount Sinai with learning and worship opportunities.
