Erev Simchat Torah Service with the Bart Weisman Klezmer Band and Consecration of New Beit Sefer Students
Sunday, September 30 at 6:15 P.M.
An hour-long service that is family-friendly and welcoming to all ages. Please join us. We need a large congregation in order to have sufficient help to hold the unrolled Sefer Torah. If you have never experienced this at FJC or elsewhere, don’t miss the chance. It’s moving and beautiful. Torah reading by students of FJC Adult Hebrew classes is followed by a lively and joyous time dancing with the Sifrei Torah (Torah scrolls). We’ll enjoy light refreshments and drinks afterwards.
Simchat Torah Festival Service will take place on Monday, October 1 at 10:00 A.M.
