FJC Hosts a Free Community Christmas Dinner
Wednesday, December 25, 2-4pm
Falmouth Jewish Congregation is pleased to announce that it will host its first community Christmas dinner from 2-4pm on December 25. Knowing the popularity of Falmouth’s community Thanksgiving meal in past years, the congregation hopes to gather those who would like to spend the holiday with neighbors. Everyone is invited to this free meal that features a full-course menu, live music and the good company of neighbors. Send your RSVP and come enjoy roast turkey or a vegetarian entree, plus sides and desserts.
Falmouth Jewish Congregation’s Social Justice Committee is working with other faith communities to plan and prepare this special meal. If you would like to volunteer your time to help with preparations in the days before or with cooking and serving on the event date, or if you wish to provide material support, your assistance is welcome. Please RSVP by December 17 to help plan for the appropriate number of guests. To RSVP or to volunteer, please contact Esther Kaplan at ekaplan@solexpayroll.com or call 781.789.7211.
The meal will take place in the congregation’s Blanche & Joel D. Seifer Community Center at 7 Hatchville Road, East Falmouth. Falmouth Jewish Congregation is an inclusive Reform congregation serving the Upper Cape and beyond and providing opportunities for community, worship, lifelong learning, and social justice.
