FJC – Speen Hall
OPEN TO ALL!

The 2026-27 season of the JBC author series continues on November 19 at 11 AM live at the FJC. Martha’s Vineyard neighbor Rabbi Caryn Broitman will present The Torah is an Open Book: Radical Readings for the Seeker and the Skeptic. Drawing on centuries of Jewish commentary and her own experience as a congregational rabbi, Broitman shows how even the most difficult or obscure passages can become sources of insight, justice, and connection when read through the lens of midrash
