Everyone is invited to a fun Sunday Sundae ice cream fundraiser for the Falmouth Service Center, outdoors under a tent on Sunday, August 25, 6-8 pm, rain or shine. This event will be hosted by the Falmouth Interfaith Association and will take place at St. Barnabas Memorial Church located on the Village Green in downtown Falmouth. The cost is $6 per person for a bowl of ice cream and toppings. There will also be gift basket raffles, a silent auction and a bake sale. In addition, there will be outdoor games, face painting, beaded bracelet making and other activities for kids of every age.

“This truly is an interfaith event,” said organizer Fran Senner-Hurley of the Falmouth Jewish Congregation. ”We have 15 faith communities that are coming together to support the Falmouth Service Center. They are baking goodies, making gift baskets, organizing games, and scooping ice cream. It’s a beautiful thing!”

The faith communities include Christ Lutheran, Church of the Messiah, Falmouth Jewish Congregation, Falmouth Soto Zen Sangha, First Congregational Church of Falmouth, Grace Memorial Church, John Wesley Methodist Church, North Falmouth Congregational Church,  St. Barnabas Memorial Episcopal Church, St. Joseph, Guardian of the Holy Family Parish,  Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Falmouth, Upper Cape Chaplaincy, Waquoit Congregational Church,  West Falmouth Friends, and West Falmouth Methodist Church.

Many thanks to Gifford’s for supplying ice cream for this event that supports the many and meaningful ways that the Falmouth Service Center helps its clientele.
