Great American Songbook Shabbat: Friday, June 29 at 7:30 P.M.
in FJC’s East End Meeting House (park at the Community Center and follow the path across the street)
All are welcome!
Building upon the success and popularity of “Boomer Shabbat”, we are pleased to announce our first “Great American Songbook Shabbat”, scheduled for Friday, June 29th at 7:30 PM in the Meeting House.
Our member Ted Jellinek, an accomplished jazz pianist, will lead a quartet with bass, drums and vocalist, drawing upon gems from the Great American Songbook that will be thematically-linked to the Friday evening Shabbat prayers. Ted will be joined by vocalist Liz Saunders, percussionist Tony Scalici, and bassist Doug Ricciardi. It promises to be a delightful and meaningful experience, so save the date and tell your friends! An Oneg Shabbat (reception) follows in the Blanche & Joel D. Seifer Community Center. Please park at the large Community Center parking lot and follow the path to the East End Meeting House for the service.
